About James Rea

Originally from New Hampshire, James Rea started cutting his teeth at age 7 on construction sites with his father. Not long after tagging along with Dad he took an interest in land surveying and was on his own by age 12 running his dads land surveying division. Growing up in land developing and new home construction James acquired many skill sets. At age 19 James moved to Florida and made a career change into Hospitality Management with T.G.I.Fridays. James had realized his calling after his corporate world experience. Funny story, while on vacation visiting a high school friend, they talked about life and did some catching up, James went back to Florida with a plan. James went right into business head first opening his first company, Olde World Granite and Marble. James has build 3 successful Granite manufacturing companies spanning from Memphis Tn. to Florida. His time in that field garnered him respect leading to his company being engaged with Extreme Makeover Home Edition for three seasons. James focus changed abruptly after a hit and run motorcycle accident in 2011. Having navigated the troubles of being underinsured and watching his personal wealth evaporate he decided to change careers to the financial and insurance world. His skill set is a direct result of this trying time. He has dedicated his career to informing the public through education and expertise. James has since bridged the gaps and become a Realtor to help his clients in all areas of their financial goals. James is always keeping ahead of the market trends and looking for ways to improve his clients portfolio. In late 2016 he had an idea to bring together a concept with Mark Landis that would secure their clients wealth with zero losses and give them great returns. This became a reality early 2017 when they formed Olive Tree Financial. James likes to say he is “The only Agent you’ll ever need”!
